Edsbyn's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience was convinced that Lars-Erik Wallman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Börje Ekenberg was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Edsbyn's Lars-Erik Wallman got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Grönskåra IFK's Börje Ekenberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars-Erik Wallman in the 53rd minute of play. Edwin Asmundsson hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. A collision led to Edsbyn getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Tobias Albäck hit a great ball. When Viktor Håning fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edsbyn's protests and gave Viktor Håning a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Grönskåra IFK booed when Edsbyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Håning didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th match minute, Grönskåra IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralf Alstedt to maneuver through the defense. The Edsbyn fans cheered their team off the field, for while Grönskåra IFK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
