If Wawrzyniec Smolarek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Marajda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Smolarek, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 18 minutes of play, Il Biscione's Wawrzyniec Smolarek made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Igor Marajda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Helge Haglund's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Sven-Arne Boman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 23rd minute Ragnar Anselius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Arne Boman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 25 in the game by Helge Haglund from a close distance when the talented Sven-Arne Boman managed to make a qualified save. Il Biscione's players were relieved. Sven-Arne Boman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Haglund in the 27th minute of play. Igor Marajda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wawrzyniec Smolarek in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Stig Rosen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Inter fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Wawrzyniec Smolarek struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Igor Marajda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Il Biscione. Igor Marajda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Caiola went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Georg Åhman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Marajda having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Wawrzyniec Smolarek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Helge Haglund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Sven-Arne Boman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. FC Inter's Helge Haglund was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 46th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Wawrzyniec Smolarek made the kick off in the second half. Stig Rosen took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Arne Boman. Sven-Arne Boman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 58thth minute of the game Helge Haglund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Il Biscione's Sven-Arne Boman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Wawrzyniec Smolarek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Igor Marajda was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. In the 63rd minute Ragnar Anselius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Arne Boman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Vilhelm Stenberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Sven-Arne Boman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Il Biscione's Sven-Arne Boman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ragnar Anselius in the 70th minute of play. Ragnar Biörling was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. Jonny Skoglund hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 84 played minutes FC Inter got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Mårtensson. 92 minutes into the game, Stig Rosen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Inter's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Il Biscione the free kick. The supporters of Il Biscione booed when FC Inter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Rosen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonny Skoglund kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 96th minute Helge Haglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Arne Boman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Inter's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
