Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rickard Ånger started the match with the kick off. Wictor Hammarström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Ånger, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tyresö FF's goalkeeper Wictor Hammarström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mats Jakobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Verner Lundström in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Southport Aik's Tage Finsberg got a free kick in the 10th minute. After having played for 11 minutes, Verner Lundström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tyresö FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Verner Lundström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Tyresö FF's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Ånger came free, but Wictor Hammarström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rickard Ånger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Wictor Hammarström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 18 minutes on the clock, Stig-Arne Julin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 18th minute, one of Tyresö FF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tyresö FF. The referee gave Southport Aik a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Harry Lind, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tyresö FF's Wictor Hammarström. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tage Finsberg during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Southport Aik's Tage Finsberg got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Wictor Hammarström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickard Ånger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Georg Öberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mats Jakobsson having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Southport Aik's goal looked a bit too open when Verner Lundström came free, but Mats Jakobsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Verner Lundström in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mats Jakobsson saved Southport Aik from getting behind. Rickard Ånger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Wictor Hammarström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Verner Lundström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 71st minute, Georg Öberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Southport Aik's Marcus Ståhlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mats Jakobsson firmly grabbed it by the left post. 80 minutes into the match, Southport Aik's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Öberg came free, but Mats Jakobsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Verner Lundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tage Finsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Torbjörn Holm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcus Ståhlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Wictor Hammarström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Marcus Ståhlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rickard Ånger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wictor Hammarström having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tyresö FF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Southport Aik.
