The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. HanneskiFC's Petter Kjellqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Falkrantz in the 32nd minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Åke Falkrantz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petter Kjellqvist. HanneskiFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Åke Falkrantz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Birger Beckman charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Birger Beckman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Villaborg IF's Birger Beckman got a free kick in the 45th minute. Petter Kjellqvist made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Brian Hedlund sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Herman Lundkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Karl-Oskar Lingren in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Henning Näver, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Petter Kjellqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Åke Falkrantz's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. 3-0 became the score in the 60th minute when Åke Falkrantz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Petter Kjellqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Hedlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute Brian Hedlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petter Kjellqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Brian Hedlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petter Kjellqvist was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. In the 69th match minute, HanneskiFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pontus Barck to maneuver through the defense. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Oskar Lingrens short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Henning Näver to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Brian Hedlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petter Kjellqvist having to interfere. Villaborg IF's Åke Falkrantz got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Villaborg IF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
