Åke Falkrantz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Wennerqvist having to interfere. If Hubert Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 9 minutes, Jens Carlsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Smutstvätt IF and the Villaborg IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes Smutstvätt IF got a freekick which was hit by Jens Carlsson. Thomas Wennerqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brian Hedlund in the 12th minute. Jens Carlsson hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Åke Falkrantzs short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Thomas Wennerqvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Falkrantz in the 18th minute of play forced Smutstvätt IF's goalkeeper Thomas Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes Åke Falkrantz rounded Smutstvätt IF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Hubert Åberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Thomas Wennerqvist made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brian Hedlund got free with Thomas Wennerqvist in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Åke Falkrantz succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Åke Falkrantz in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Wennerqvist saved Smutstvätt IF from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Brian Hedlund kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thomas Wennerqvist. That made the score 4-0 in the 40 minute of play. Åke Falkrantz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Wennerqvist having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Åke Falkrantz was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Åke Falkrantz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Smutstvätt IF's Thomas Wennerqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 54th minute Åke Falkrantz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Wennerqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Åke Falkrantz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Åke Falkrantz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Thomas Wennerqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Wennerqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Falkrantz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the match, Villaborg IF's Åke Falkrantz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Wennerqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thomas Wennerqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Falkrantz in the 74th minute of the match. If Brian Hedlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Åke Falkrantz succeeded in the game's 81st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Falkrantz in the 84th minute of play forced Smutstvätt IF's goalkeeper Thomas Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Verner Lundgren fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Smutstvätt IF's protests and gave Verner Lundgren a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Smutstvätt IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Villaborg IF:s goal. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Villaborg IF. Måns Kielberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Thomas Wennerqvist. 7-0. After a defensive mix-up in Smutstvätt IF's zone, Åke Falkrantz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Wennerqvist came out of the goal and Åke Falkrantz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Villaborg IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
