Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alfred Gadd made the kick off which started today's match. John Lindholm came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mölndal IF's Ture Paulin. But to his dismay, Ture Paulin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, FC Purjulöken's goal looked a bit too open when Ture Paulin came free, but John Lindholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Adam Pihlwall made a precise shot to the right of John Lindholm. FC Purjulöken's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in FC Purjulöken's zone, Adam Pihlwall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Lindholm came out of the goal and Adam Pihlwall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tom Sigfridsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krister Ekrot in the 25th minute of play forced Mölndal IF's goalkeeper Carl Mikaelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John Lindholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Gadd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mölndal IF's Carl Mikaelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isak Fridlund in the 28th minute of play. Villiam Löv could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Carl Mikaelsson made a huge save. John Lindholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Wallander in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Gadd in the 37th minute of play forced FC Purjulöken's goalkeeper John Lindholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tom Wallander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jack Skoglund took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carl Mikaelsson. Carl Mikaelsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The FC Purjulöken players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mölndal IF were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Krister Ekrot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Krister Ekrot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carl Mikaelsson. Mölndal IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Krister Ekrot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. John Lindholm was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adam Pihlwall showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 60 minute of play. Alfred Gadd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. John Lindholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John Lindholm was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Alfred Gadd capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alfred Gadd really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. In the 70th minute Adam Pihlwall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Lindholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute of the match Billy Kalfhage shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but John Lindholm showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Adam Pihlwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Lindholm having to interfere. Adam Pihlwall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. John Lindholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam Pihlwall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mölndal IF's Ture Paulin got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Alfred Gadd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ture Paulin might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over John Lindholm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ture Paulin ran back to his position shaking his head. Mölndal IF's Carl Mikaelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isak Fridlund in the 87th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Mölndal IF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Purjulöken.
