AIK's Per-Arne Ström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save AIK from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the game, AIK's Sven-Olof Moberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charles Ekberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. AIK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Eskil Lindqvist scored to the left of an out of position Per-Arne Ström, making the score, 2-1. Per-Arne Ström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Stenberg in the 25th minute of the match. Manfred Christoffersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Manfred Christoffersson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Finlandia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Finlandia FC's Charles Ekberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Stephansson in the 33rd minute of play. In the last second Charles Ekberg throw himself and got hold of the ball when Egon Gummeson in the 92ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Egon Gummeson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
