Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dick Lägdin started the match with the kick off. Sven-Ove Askelöf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Tommy Biörnberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Göteborg United's Henric Björk got a free kick in the 5th minute. If Jonatan Blom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Giron Grabbs booed when Göteborg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustaf Brun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Landin, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Göteborg United's Tommy Biörnberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Göteborg United from getting a goal against them. Jonatan Blom in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tommy Biörnberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tommy Biörnberg was a little too slow when Linus Uggstedt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. If Jonatan Blom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Linus Uggstedt in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Biörnberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Linus Uggstedt came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Giron Grabbs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Linus Uggstedt couldn't finish the play. Tommy Biörnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linus Uggstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Linus Uggstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Gösta Offendahl put in a rough tackle. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Göteborg United! The referee gave Giron Grabbs a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Adrian Landin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Göteborg United's Tommy Biörnberg. 2-0. Linus Uggstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Biörnberg having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Linus Uggstedt made a kick off. Jonatan Blom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Biörnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Uggstedt in the 63rd minute of play. In the 68th minute, Linus Uggstedt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Giron Grabbs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Tommy Biörnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Uggstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Karl-Erik Hedkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tommy Biörnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tolek Jeziorkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Jonatan Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute of the match Adrian Landin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Biörnberg skillfully saved the ball. Giron Grabbs walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
