Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alfred Eckegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Mellberg in the 4th minute of play. Alfred Eckegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Erik Engström in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Nils-Erik Engström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Staffanstorp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Staffanstorp's Claes Johansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Staffanstorp from getting a goal against them. Alfred Eckegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Erik Engström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Mellberg in the 29th minute of play forced Bredared IF's goalkeeper Alfred Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Staffanstorp's Claes Johansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Staffanstorp from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Staffanstorp's goalkeeper Claes Johansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Staffanstorp's zone, Mats Mårtensson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claes Johansson came out of the goal and Mats Mårtensson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

With a little luck, Bredared IF's Alfred Eckegren got control of the ball when Nils-Erik Engström tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute, Rickey Burger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice moves Markus Mellberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Alfred Eckegren however easily saved by the left post. Mats Mårtensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfred Eckegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmie Lönn, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Mats Mårtensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Bredared IF's goalkeeper Alfred Eckegren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils-Erik Engström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmie Lönn in the 76th minute of play forced Bredared IF's goalkeeper Alfred Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Markus Mellberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfred Eckegren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Alfred Eckegren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nils-Erik Engström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 88 minute of play. Anders Nordgren charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anders Nordgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Staffanstorp:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bredared IF:s goal. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Bredared IF. Boris Svartengren stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Claes Johansson. 1-3. Staffanstorp's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
