In the 8th minute Sivert Myr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Ekeroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Visseltofta RK's Sivert Myr got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 14 minutes of play, Kurdiska FC's Malcolm Lindberg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Torsten Back was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute, Sven-Edvin Gustavsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Malcolm Lindberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Torsten Back tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Kurdiska FC defense, Fritz Billberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Folke Ekeroth. When Gilberto Ermano came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Kurdiska FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Ermano couldn't finish the play. Malcolm Lindberg scored 1-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torsten Back, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Kurdiska FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd match minute, Kurdiska FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Ermano to maneuver through the defense. If Malcolm Lindberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 67 minutes, Malcolm Lindberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kurdiska FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Malcolm Lindberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilberto Ermano during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Malcolm Lindberg struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Torsten Back didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kurdiska FC. The supporters of Kurdiska FC booed when Visseltofta RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sivert Myr didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Visseltofta RK's Thomas Kiempe got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 88th minute, Lars-Erik Gullesson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Malte Ekberg fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kurdiska FC's protests and gave Malte Ekberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th match minute, Kurdiska FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Ekberg to maneuver through the defense. When Lars-Erik Gullesson came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Visseltofta RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars-Erik Gullesson couldn't finish the play. Kurdiska FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
