Joakim Öman made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Tony Klemensson sent off a good shot on target. Albin Wennerquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joakim Öman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tony Klemensson in the 6th minute. The supporters of Internatzionale Alingsås booed when Kurdistan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dag Larsfelt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albin Wennerquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Joakim Öman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tony Klemensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tony Klemensson got free with Joakim Öman in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute, Oskar Bengtsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Tony Klemensson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joakim Öman. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Albin Wennerquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Joakim Öman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Internatzionale Alingsås's Tony Klemensson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joakim Öman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tony Klemensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Joakim Öman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ted Kalfhage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Mossberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd match minute, Internatzionale Alingsås was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sture Svensson to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Erik Pihlblad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kurdistan's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Pihlblad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ted Kalfhage breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Albin Wennerquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Joakim Öman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Kurdistan's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Klemensson came free, but Joakim Öman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Internatzionale Alingsås's goalkeeper Ted Kalfhage had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Douglas Jönsson. Tony Klemensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Öman having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Albin Wennerquist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Internatzionale Alingsås fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Internatzionale Alingsås's Tony Klemensson got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albin Wennerquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tony Klemensson struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Joakim Öman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Internatzionale Alingsås. Ted Kalfhage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Mossberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Internatzionale Alingsås's Tony Klemensson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joakim Öman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Internatzionale Alingsås's Tony Klemensson got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Internatzionale Alingsås's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
