In the 17th minute Oskar Bengtsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Möllgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Verner Koch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 26 minutes into the match, Jugadores de Ochocinco's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Forss came free, but Kevin Beckman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paul Möllgren was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Henrik Högberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 27 minute of play. The supporters of Säffle IK booed when Jugadores de Ochocinco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikael Petersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Krzysztof Podwojski fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Säffle IK's protests and gave Krzysztof Podwojski a yellow card for diving instead. Krzysztof Podwojski hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oskar Bengtsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Marcus Lindström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Douglas Forss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gottfrid Lang hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
