Tarhun Kutuner took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Håkan Lägdin. Håkan Lägdin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Håkan Lägdin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Fredriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Fabian Fredriksson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Man United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Erik Pilblad in the 26th minute of play forced Red United's goalkeeper Håkan Lägdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Börge Hård recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Genaro Jaunzuria in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arne Ugla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Börge Hård sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Red United's Leif Wallin pulled a muscle in his leg after 45 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Petter Odman fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Man United's protests and gave Petter Odman a yellow card for diving instead. Red United made a substitution. Peter Mattsson replaced Leif Wallin. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Genaro Jaunzuria made a kick off. Tarhun Kutuner received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Håkan Lägdin came out and tried to block the shot, but Tarhun Kutuner slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 52nd minute. Arne Ugla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Jaunzuria, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute Nils-Erik Pilblad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Lägdin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genaro Jaunzuria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th match minute, Man United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Åkerström to maneuver through the defense. In the 67thth minute of the game Genaro Jaunzuria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Man United's Arne Ugla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Håkan Lägdin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Petter Odman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Georg Söderström hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Georg Söderström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tarhun Kutuner took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Håkan Lägdin. Håkan Lägdin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. With a little luck, Red United's Håkan Lägdin got control of the ball when Fabian Fredriksson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabian Fredrikssons short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Håkan Lägdin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fabian Fredriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Håkan Lägdin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 95 minutes into the match, Man United's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Jaunzuria came free, but Arne Ugla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
