When Anton Wennerberg came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Lansjärv BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Wennerberg couldn't finish the play. Renaud Gamblin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Backman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Lansjärv BK's Leo Zander got a free kick in the 9th minute. If Nils Lundström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ernst Bennet scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ian Tunström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Lansjärv BK getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Michael Aspengren hit a great ball. After 24th play minutes Vance Blake shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Ian Tunström and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Chelsea FC booed when Lansjärv BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urban Örtendahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vance Blake struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Ian Tunström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelsea FC. After a rather tough play, Lansjärv BK's Sture Finman got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, Chelsea FC's Stig-Åke Abrahamsson got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 43rd minute, Vance Blake got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Ingvar Backman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Renaud Gamblin. The goal made the score 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Chelsea FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. George Abrahamsson hit a great ball. Vance Blakes short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Ian Tunström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lansjärv BK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when George Abrahamsson 63 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. After 67 minutes, Vance Blake made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Lansjärv BK's Ian Tunström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute Ingvar Backman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renaud Gamblin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renaud Gamblin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Backman, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Chelsea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Urban Örtendahl came free, but Renaud Gamblin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Ingvar Backman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renaud Gamblin. Chelsea FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingvar Backman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Renaud Gamblin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Urban Örtendahl's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Vance Blake received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ian Tunström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Vance Blake managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelsea FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vance Blake was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian Tunström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stig-Åke Abrahamsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Chelsea FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lansjärv BK.
