In the 4th minute, Peter Fågel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Greger Nordin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Kåre Groth managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Bälinge's Peter Fågel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Peter Fågels short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Kåre Groth to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 18 minutes into the game, Pelle Norström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. gottne if's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bälinge the free kick. The supporters of Bälinge booed when gottne if was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pelle Norström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd match minute, gottne if was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Hultin to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Peter Fågel notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of gottne if's Kåre Groth. Kåre Groth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Greger Nordin charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Greger Nordin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Greger Nordin hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute of the match Peder Dahlkvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fred Botvidsson skillfully saved the ball. With 33 minutes on the clock, Erik Bergqvist commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Bälinge:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of gottne if:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Fågel in the 40th minute of play forced gottne if's goalkeeper Kåre Groth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fred Botvidsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Ståhlberg in the 42nd minute of the match. Kåre Groth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Fågel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
52 minutes into the match, gottne if's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Fågel came free, but Kåre Groth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Peter Fågel sped through gottne if's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kåre Groth. In the 57th match minute, gottne if was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peder Dahlkvist to maneuver through the defense. After 58 played minutes, Bälinge's Isak Örtendal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kåre Groth came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bälinge reached it. After a defensive mix-up in gottne if's zone, Peter Fågel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kåre Groth came out of the goal and Peter Fågel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henry Heggert kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Fågel in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kåre Groth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute Peter Fågel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kåre Groth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pelle Norström got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 71st minute, Pelle Norström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Peter Fågel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kåre Groth. gottne if's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter Fågel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Kåre Groth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Fågel's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Isak Örtendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Fågel in the 86th minute of play forced gottne if's goalkeeper Kåre Groth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bälinge's Peter Fågel in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye gottne if's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ove Ståhlberg got free with Fred Botvidsson in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute, Greger Nordin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bälinge's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
