The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Astana FC's Andy Wållander got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After some careless play in the Astana FC defense, Jonas Vennerlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roger Bergström. The Astana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roger Bergström should have stopped the shot. 17 minutes into the match, Tomteboda FK's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Eklund came free, but Egon Kvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jim Kaxe charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jim Kaxe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jim Kaxe kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Håkan Eklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Egon Kvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Astana FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Gilbert Eriksson scored to the left of an out of position Roger Bergström, making the score, 2-0. With a little luck, Astana FC's Roger Bergström got control of the ball when Jonas Vennerlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gilbert Eriksson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 42nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Astana FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Jim Kaxe hit a great ball. In the 44th minute of the match Freddie Sandberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roger Bergström showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Jonas Vennerlund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Roger Bergström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Håkan Eklund to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Astana FC's zone, Alvin Forsell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Bergström came out of the goal and Alvin Forsell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute Gilbert Eriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Bergström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomteboda FK's Gilbert Eriksson got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonas Vennerlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Roger Bergström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Jonas Sigfridsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Astana FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Sigfridsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egon Kvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Astana FC's Håkan Eklund got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claes Karlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Gilbert Eriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the game, Otto Bengtsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Astana FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tomteboda FK the free kick. Otto Bengtsson kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When Håkan Britz fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Astana FC's protests and gave Håkan Britz a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 played minutes Astana FC got a freekick which was hit by Håkan Britz. In the 87th minute, Freddie Sandberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Astana FC's Roger Bergström didn't even have to move. Jonas Vennerlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Roger Bergström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute Alvin Forsell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Bergström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomteboda FK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
