After a defensive mix-up in Viksjö IK's zone, Conny Vacker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per Mellbad came out of the goal and Conny Vacker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Per Mellbad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Strömberg in the 9th minute. If Conny Vacker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerry Lund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ted Skoglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ted Skoglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Alefors in the 14th minute of the match. Tomas Isaksson kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerry Lund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zebastian Tolsson charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zebastian Tolsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Viksjö IK getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Per Mellbad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conny Vacker's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. When Groggarnas BK's Marcus Strömberg in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andy Alefors couldn't finish the play. Kristoffer Jakobsson charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. With a little luck, Groggarnas BK's Ted Skoglund got control of the ball when Andy Alefors tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Marcus Strömberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per Mellbad was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Marcus Strömberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Mellbad having to interfere. Stig-Åke Britz charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig-Åke Britz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
