Victor Norberg's late challenge caught a Viksjö IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Norberg helped the player get up and apologised. Victor Norberg kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. If Kurt Hammarbäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viksjö IK's Andy Alefors got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victor Norberg hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When Zebastian Tolsson fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viksjö IK's protests and gave Zebastian Tolsson a yellow card for diving instead. Zebastian Tolsson kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Gottfrid Hultin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per Mellbad having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Viksjö IK got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Åke Britz. After a defensive mix-up in Gustavsberg IK's zone, Jerry Lund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torbjörn Siggman came out of the goal and Jerry Lund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd match minute, Viksjö IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mattias Olofsson to maneuver through the defense. Gottfrid Hultin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Gottfrid Hultin made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Gottfrid Hultin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gustavsberg IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 56th minute, Isaac Sjöberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torbjörn Siggman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Lund in the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd match minute, Viksjö IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Åke Britz to maneuver through the defense. Kurt Hammarbäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Per Mellbad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Andy Alefors managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viksjö IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Andy Alefors was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torbjörn Siggman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Per Mellbad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gottfrid Hultin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Gustavsberg IK's zone, Jerry Lund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torbjörn Siggman came out of the goal and Jerry Lund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Gustavsberg IK booed when Viksjö IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerry Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Jerry Lund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Torbjörn Siggman, 1-1. 88 minutes into the match, Viksjö IK's goal looked a bit too open when Gottfrid Hultin came free, but Per Mellbad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
