In the 10thth minute of the game Jan-Olof Holmstedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rundvik FK's Jonas Wennerlund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gustav Ahlbeck kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Jens-Erik Söderquist in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eskil Olofsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Jönsson in the 20th minute of play forced US Palermo's goalkeeper Eskil Olofsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronny Jönsson made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, US Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Erik Söderquist came free, but Eskil Olofsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens-Erik Söderquist in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eskil Olofsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ronny Jönsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eskil Olofsson having to interfere. A collision led to US Palermo getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ola Vestberg hit a great ball. Eskil Olofsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Jönsson in the 66th minute of play. Eskil Olofsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Erik Söderquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Ronny Jönsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rundvik FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The audience was convinced that Ronny Jönsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eskil Olofsson was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. The supporters of Rundvik FK booed when US Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Ahlbeck didn't get a good kick on the ball.
