Eskil Olofsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Nils Billström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eskil Olofsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 15th match minute, US Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Knut Olofsson to maneuver through the defense. Eskil Olofsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The Brösarp fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Brösarp's Nils Billström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Brösarp's Stig-Arne Stenberg in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Eskil Olofsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Billström in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, US Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Billström came free, but Eskil Olofsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Knut Olofsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st match minute, US Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertil Norberg to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the match, Nils Billström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eskil Olofsson. US Palermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nils Billström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The US Palermo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Brösarp were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sivert Kaxe made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, Nils Billström got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eskil Olofsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With his leg Eskil Olofsson managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Brösarp's Nils Billström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Brösarp's Morgan Månsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sivert Kaxe in the 61st minute of play. Nils Billström in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eskil Olofsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nils Billström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Eskil Olofsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Brösarp's Nils Billström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eskil Olofsson. That made the score 0-4 after 69 minutes of play. With his leg Eskil Olofsson managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Brösarp's Nils Billström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Eskil Olofsson made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Stig-Arne Stenberg sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Brösarp booed when US Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils Billström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Eskil Olofsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for US Palermo! A collision led to US Palermo getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Bertil Norberg hit a great ball. US Palermo's Eskil Olofsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save US Palermo from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Brösarp left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than US Palermo.
