Sune Busk's late challenge caught a Vedum FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sune Busk helped the player get up and apologised. Sune Busk hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Sten Lindsten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sune Busk, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 16 minutes, Sune Busk made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vedum FK's Sten Lindsten tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sune Busk in the 19th minute of play forced Vedum FK's goalkeeper Sten Lindsten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sune Busk struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Sten Lindsten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Downs...syndrom. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Downs...syndrom:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vedum FK:s goal. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Vedum FK. Robert Walroth stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jack Modig. 2-1. 37 minutes into the match, Vedum FK's goal looked a bit too open when Sune Busk came free, but Sten Lindsten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sune Busk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sune Busk might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sten Lindsten. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sune Busk ran back to his position shaking his head. When Josef Hammarberg fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vedum FK's protests and gave Josef Hammarberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vedum FK getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Josef Hammarberg hit a great ball. If Edwin Västerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Bengt-Åke Ahlin made the kick off in the second half. Sune Busk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Lindsten having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Vedum FK got a freekick which was hit by Viggo Erserman. Edwin Västerberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Edwin Västerberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sten Lindsten having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edwin Västerberg in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sten Lindsten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute, Downs...syndrom's Edwin Västerberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Sten Lindsten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edwin Västerberg's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Sune Busk's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sten Lindsten firmly grabbed it by the left post. Edwin Västerberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sten Lindsten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Västerberg in the 78th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Downs...syndrom's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt-Åke Palmkvist came free, but Jack Modig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Vedum FK's Sten Lindsten got control of the ball when Sune Busk tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Edwin Västerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Downs...syndrom's supporters rose to their feet, but Edwin Västerberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sten Lindsten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Åke Ahlin in the 90th minute of play forced Downs...syndrom's goalkeeper Jack Modig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sune Busk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sten Lindsten having to interfere.
