If Anders Kruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Vallda getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Joseph Axelsson hit a great ball. Edvard Lönn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Säfström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Vargön RK's Stefan Rolandsson got control of the ball when Anders Kruse tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Vallda booed when Vargön RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Knutsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute Michael Knutsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvard Lönn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kurt Säfström to make the kick off. Kurt Säfström kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Anders Kruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingvar Sefastsson kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Stefan Rolandsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ove Bjurström went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Edvard Lönn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edvard Lönn came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Vargön RK's Dennis Brolin. But to his dismay, Dennis Brolin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 84th match minute, Vallda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ove Bjurström to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute Anders Kruse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Rolandsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 played minutes Vallda got a freekick which was hit by Östen Strömberg. 95 minutes into the match, Vargön RK's Jimmy Brander broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
