Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Parramatta Eagles's Maximilian Melberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edgar Lindholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Plaski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 9 played minutes Getinge got a freekick which was hit by Jonny Jönsson. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximilian Melberg in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt Axelsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Julian Plaski fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Getinge's protests and gave Julian Plaski a yellow card for diving instead. Julian Plaski hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Adrian Stål recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th match minute, Getinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Plaski to maneuver through the defense. Parramatta Eagles's Adrian Stål got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Getinge booed when Parramatta Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarcisio Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Getinge's Kevin Knutsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgar Lindholm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Petter Sefastsson charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petter Sefastsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Parramatta Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Petter Sefastsson. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Kevin Knutsson took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Lindholm. Edgar Lindholm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 62nd minute, Konrad Johnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximilian Melberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bengt Axelsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximilian Melberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Maximilian Melberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Bengt Axelsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 75 minutes, Jonny Jönsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Getinge and the Parramatta Eagles players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Getinge getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jonny Jönsson hit a great ball. Adrian Stål fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 77th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. In the 79th match minute, Parramatta Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennart Cane to maneuver through the defense. Julian Plaski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgar Lindholm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Parramatta Eagles's Adrian Stål got a free kick in the 85th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kevin Knutsson in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Lindholm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Parramatta Eagles's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Getinge had won, even though Parramatta Eagles had held more of the ball.
