Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luiz Fábio de Souza started the match with the kick off. Pär Österberg hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 14 minutes of play, Gemla's Mats Sellberg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Håkan Österberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Krister Lundström's late challenge caught a Donsö's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Krister Lundström helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Donsö got a freekick which was hit by Pär Österberg. When Pär Österberg fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Donsö's protests and gave Pär Österberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gemla booed when Donsö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pär Österberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Krister Lundström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gemla's supporters rose to their feet, but Krister Lundström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Håkan Österberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donsö's Håkan Österberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per Ahlfors in the 24th minute of play. Per-Erik Hjelm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fábio de Souza in the 28th minute of the match. Pär Österberg kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Donsö's zone, Krister Lundström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Håkan Österberg came out of the goal and Krister Lundström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Håkan Österberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Ahlfors in the 35th minute of the match. Per-Erik Hjelm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fábio de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute Mats Sellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Österberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Håkan Österberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Fastesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Mats Sellberg scored 0-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Håkan Österberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mats Sellberg made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fábio de Souza in the 52nd minute of play forced Gemla's goalkeeper Per-Erik Hjelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donsö's Håkan Österberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Donsö from getting a goal against them. Erland Wik took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Håkan Österberg. Håkan Österberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Håkan Österberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Krister Lundström in the 63rd minute. Luiz Fábio de Souza struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Per-Erik Hjelm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Donsö. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mats Sellberg in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Håkan Österberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Håkan Österberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mats Sellberg's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 77th minute, Sten Stensson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Per-Erik Hjelm was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After a rather tough play, Gemla's Mats Sellberg got a free kick in the 80th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Aaron Fastesson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Håkan Österberg. That made the score 1-4 in the 83 minute of play. A collision led to Gemla getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Per Ahlfors hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Mats Sellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Fábio de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Per-Erik Hjelm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Krister Lundström made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 92ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Håkan Österberg would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Krister Lundströms short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Håkan Österberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gemla's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
