The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Lopez in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Kochniarczyk saved Stocka BK from getting behind. Gösta Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Philip Helström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evert Sjögren went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 8 minutes into the game, AIK's Alex Lopez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leon Kochniarczyk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Philip Helström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Holmgren in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Gösta Holmgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Philip Helström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Sjögren in the 17th minute of play forced AIK's goalkeeper Philip Helström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bayram Özkar charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bayram Özkar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leon Kochniarczyk went to the wrong direction when David Siöberg was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Alex Lopez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Leon Kochniarczyk made a huge save. Alex Lopez came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leon Kochniarczyk could save by the left post. In the 31st match minute, Stocka BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo-Erik Lindqvist to maneuver through the defense. Leon Kochniarczyk made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Alex Lopez sent off a good shot on target. Stig-Åke Hääger struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Gösta Holmgren made the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes AIK got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Åke Hääger. AIK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
