Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sören Sandberg started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Sören Sandberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sävsjö RK's Casper Söderquist. Casper Söderquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 6th minute Casper Majman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Söderquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sören Sandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sävsjö RK's Casper Söderquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Sandberg in the 8th minute of play. Casper Söderquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sören Sandberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After some careless play in the Sävsjö RK defense, Tommy Söderström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casper Söderquist. The Sävsjö RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casper Söderquist should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute Sören Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Söderquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 21 in the game by Mikael Bjurström from a close distance when the talented Teobald Karpinski managed to make a qualified save. Vadstena's players were relieved. 23 minutes into the match, Sören Sandberg notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Sävsjö RK's Casper Söderquist. Casper Söderquist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Sören Sandberg came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Vadstena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sören Sandberg couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute Casper Majman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Söderquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Vadstena's goalkeeper Teobald Karpinski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eric Lundgren. Eric Lundgren succeeded in the game's 30th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Teobald Karpinski made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Eric Lundgren sent off a good shot on target. Eric Lundgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobald Karpinski having to interfere. Sävsjö RK's Casper Söderquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Sandberg in the 40th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eric Lundgren got free with Teobald Karpinski in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Sören Sandberg made a precise shot to the right of Casper Söderquist. Sävsjö RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The wind increased when Edward Pååk made the kick off in the second half. Edward Pååk took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teobald Karpinski. Teobald Karpinski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Edward Pååk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Pååk in the 57th minute of play forced Vadstena's goalkeeper Teobald Karpinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 59 minutes of play, Sävsjö RK's Edward Pååk made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teobald Karpinski was left in no man's land by his defense there! The throw-in from Tommy Söderström in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sävsjö RK's John Nord. When Mats Pil fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sävsjö RK's protests and gave Mats Pil a yellow card for diving instead. Mats Pil hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Sandberg in the 65th minute of play forced Sävsjö RK's goalkeeper Casper Söderquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sävsjö RK's Casper Söderquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören Sandberg in the 66th minute of play. Casper Söderquist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vadstena's Casper Majman collided with an opponent after 80 minutes. He was hit so badly that he fractured his arm. Vadstena made a substitution. Hubert Giliusson replaced Casper Majman. In the 79th minute, one of Sävsjö RK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sävsjö RK. Teobald Karpinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Lundgren in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Sören Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Söderquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casper Söderquist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hubert Giliusson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-7 in the 94 minute of play. Sören Sandberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 100th minute of the match, but Casper Söderquist made a huge save. Vadstena's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
