Bengt-Rune Bergfeldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Halis Ayhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt-Rune Bergfeldt in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Halis Ayhan saved Önnestad from getting behind. If Tommy Lindholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Adam Rydzyk came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Önnestad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Rydzyk couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, Karl-Axel Wallin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Halis Ayhan. Önnestad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Axel Wallin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Axel Wallin in the 20th minute of play forced Önnestad's goalkeeper Halis Ayhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 played minutes Önnestad got a freekick which was hit by Stig Mikaelsson. In the 22nd minute of the match Leif Hellström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Halis Ayhan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Axel Wallin in the 26th minute of play forced Önnestad's goalkeeper Halis Ayhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Köpmanholmen's zone, Adam Rydzyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elof Gallin came out of the goal and Adam Rydzyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Köpmanholmen's Elof Gallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Lindholm in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Lindholm in the 41st minute of play forced Köpmanholmen's goalkeeper Elof Gallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 played minutes Önnestad got a freekick which was hit by Boris Blomberg. Josef Sjöström hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Axel Wallin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Önnestad's goalkeeper Halis Ayhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bengt-Rune Bergfeldt. Önnestad's Halis Ayhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Axel Wallin in the 55th minute of play. The Önnestad fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Önnestad's Tommy Lindholm looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stig Mikaelsson's late challenge caught a Köpmanholmen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig Mikaelsson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Önnestad getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Stig Mikaelsson hit a great ball. Tommy Lindholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elof Gallin having to interfere. Adam Rydzyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Elof Gallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josef Sjöström hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Elof Gallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Lindholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Lindholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Josef Sjöström fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Köpmanholmen's protests and gave Josef Sjöström a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Köpmanholmen got a freekick which was hit by Josef Sjöström. If Adam Rydzyk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute Tommy Lindholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elof Gallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josef Sjöström kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Adam Rydzyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elof Gallin having to interfere. Bengt-Rune Bergfeldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Halis Ayhan firmly grabbed it by the left post.
