Björn Stolpe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulf Ferm having to make a save. In the last second Ulf Ferm throw himself and got hold of the ball when Osvald Broman in the 20thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Ulf Ferm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvald Broman, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 29 played minutes Osvald Broman rounded Gimo RK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osvald Broman to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Osvald Broman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Ferm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulf Ferm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. IFK Norrköping's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
