Vrena's Sivert Carlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pelle Falkrantz in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Långsele's Alvin Forsberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sivert Carlsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Pelle Falkrantz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Långsele fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Pelle Falkrantz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sivert Carlsson having to interfere. Alvin Forsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvin Forsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Sivert Carlsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan-Ove Lindmark was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vrena's goalkeeper Sivert Carlsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Vrena's Alexander Nilsson got a free kick in the 54th minute. Alexander Nilsson hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Edward Drewitz, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Pelle Falkrantz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Sivert Carlsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 67th minute, Pelle Falkrantz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sivert Carlsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Pelle Falkrantz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sivert Carlsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Tim Arenstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Sivert Carlsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Långsele's Pelle Falkrantz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sivert Carlsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-7. Pelle Falkrantz might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sivert Carlsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pelle Falkrantz ran back to his position shaking his head. Felix Siggman struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Sivert Carlsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Långsele. If Tim Arenstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Långsele booed when Vrena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Erik Nordstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edward Drewitz struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Sivert Carlsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Långsele. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pelle Falkrantz got free with Sivert Carlsson in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Långsele's Mats Jernberg got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Långsele left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vrena.
