But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Codrin Filipașcu couldn't finish the play. When Stefan Fredriksson fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hargshamn's protests and gave Stefan Fredriksson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hargshamn getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Stefan Fredriksson hit a great ball. Magnus Cane charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Magnus Cane the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With his leg Roy Helberg managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Whitebeard's Bernt Jansson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Hargshamn getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Hugo Larsson hit a great ball. Roy Helberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Börje Möller's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Hargshamn's goalkeeper Roy Helberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernt Jansson. Maximilian Kock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otto Kämpe having to interfere. Hargshamn's Roy Helberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Hargshamn from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Whitebeard's Sten Finnman got a free kick in the 30th minute. Bernt Jansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Roy Helberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Whitebeard getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Silas de Barros hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Codrin Filipașcu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roy Helberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 55th minute Bernt Jansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Helberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Rutger Wenerdahl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hargshamn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Whitebeard the free kick. The supporters of Whitebeard booed when Hargshamn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rutger Wenerdahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Börje Möller struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Roy Helberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Whitebeard. When Whitebeard's Bernt Jansson, in the 61st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Whitebeard. Bernt Jansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roy Helberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Otto Kämpe was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maximilian Kock showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 67 minute of play. If Codrin Filipașcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otto Kämpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rutger Wenerdahl in the 75th minute of play. Roy Helberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Jansson in the 84th minute of play. After some careless play in the Hargshamn defense, Bernt Jansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roy Helberg. The Hargshamn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roy Helberg should have stopped the shot. Whitebeard walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
