If Edvin Häll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arman Abrahamsson hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After having played for 16 minutes, Kennet Haegg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arbil SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kennet Haegg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arman Abrahamsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andréas Lundblad having to interfere. Niklas Springfält took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Wallman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andréas Lundblad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arman Abrahamsson's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Knut Åhman charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Knut Åhman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Georg Ekrot fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Utö IFK's protests and gave Georg Ekrot a yellow card for diving instead. Utö IFK's Johnny Busk got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Utö IFK's Ingvar Wallman got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan-Erik Hybbert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kennet Haegg to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Utö IFK getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Jan-Erik Hybbert hit a great ball. After 59 minutes of play, Arbil SC's Kennet Haegg made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andréas Lundblad was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Utö IFK's Jan-Erik Hybbert got a free kick in the 67th minute. Jan-Erik Hybbert hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Andréas Lundblad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kennet Haegg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Arbil SC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Erik Hybbert came free, but Niklas Springfält reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andréas Lundblad was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kennet Haegg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 85 minute of play. Andréas Lundblad made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Arman Abrahamsson sent off a good shot on target. Kennet Haegg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Utö IFK defense, Arman Abrahamsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andréas Lundblad. The Utö IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andréas Lundblad should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Arbil SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Utö IFK.
