Boris Wennerqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by 苏正泉 in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Lenberg in the 11th minute of play forced Sävsjö FF's goalkeeper Jimmy Åkerman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Bålström charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Bålström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Idkerberget booed when Sävsjö FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sävsjö FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michel Lenberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig-Åke Fridlund got free with Boris Wennerqvist in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stig-Åke Fridlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Boris Wennerqvist made a huge save. Michel Lenberg charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Michel Lenberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Michel Lenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Simon Danielsson kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Johan Asserlind sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Idkerberget's Boris Wennerqvist didn't even have to move. Boris Wennerqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Fridlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Boris Wennerqvist came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Sävsjö FF's Stig-Åke Fridlund. But to his dismay, Stig-Åke Fridlund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 43 minutes into the match, Sävsjö FF's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Lenberg came free, but Jimmy Åkerman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Idkerberget getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jan Kjellbom hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, 苏正泉 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sävsjö FF's supporters rose to their feet, but 苏正泉 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Boris Wennerqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Idkerberget getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jan Kjellbom hit a great ball. Johan Asserlind recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stig-Åke Fridlund was the one to do the kick off. Jimmy Åkerman made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Michel Lenberg sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Sävsjö FF booed when Idkerberget was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Lenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 minutes, Stig-Åke Fridlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sävsjö FF and the Idkerberget players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Sävsjö FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Åke Fridlund to maneuver through the defense. If Jonas Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Fridlund in the 67th minute of play forced Idkerberget's goalkeeper Boris Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Stig-Åke Fridlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sävsjö FF's Jimmy Åkerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olof Alén in the 73rd minute of play. Stig-Åke Fridlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Wennerqvist having to interfere. In the 76th minute 苏正泉 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boris Wennerqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sture Ivarsson hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the game, Idkerberget's Julian Warka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jimmy Åkerman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 93rd minute of the match Arvin Bock shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Boris Wennerqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Jan Kjellbom fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Idkerberget's protests and gave Jan Kjellbom a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sävsjö FF booed when Idkerberget was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Kjellbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Idkerberget players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Sävsjö FF from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
