A collision led to Torpsbruk IFK getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Claes Damm hit a great ball. In the 21st match minute, Torpsbruk IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Glad to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rdth minute of the game Stig-Åke Fridlund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Torpsbruk IFK's Anders Bergfelt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by 苏正泉 got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Anders Bergfelt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Fridlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Arne Vall in the 68th minute of play forced Torpsbruk IFK's goalkeeper Anders Bergfelt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Stig-Arne Vall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anders Bergfelt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Åke Fridlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sävsjö FF booed when Torpsbruk IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tord Sandberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johan Asserlind took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anders Bergfelt. Torpsbruk IFK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Sävsjö FF manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Torpsbruk IFK to win.
