The supporters of PANELLINIOS IF booed when Västra ingelstad IS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Apelkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christer Björnsson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jon Fanström. The crowd rose to their feet as PANELLINIOS IF's Tommy Valler slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christer Björnsson. That made the score 2-0 after 11 minutes of play. In the 14th minute Jesper Sundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Björnsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Västra ingelstad IS's Christer Björnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olof Strömberg in the 39th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Emil Finman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
