David Tingelholm charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Tingelholm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edmund Stenman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melker Billvall in the 7th minute of play. After 9 minutes, Göran Damm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lyckeby Goif and the PAOK1926 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Göran Damm hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Göran Damm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johannes Blixt. PAOK1926's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Göran Damm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind PAOK1926's goalkeeper Johannes Blixt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evert Svartengren in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmund Stenman saved Lyckeby Goif from getting behind. In the 34th minute, David Tingelholm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Herbert Säfström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lyckeby Goif's supporters rose to their feet, but Herbert Säfström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johannes Blixt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Lyckeby Goif's zone, Evert Svartengren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmund Stenman came out of the goal and Evert Svartengren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kenneth Bergström struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Edmund Stenman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PAOK1926. Karl-Oskar Botvidsson made in the 45th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kevin Haegg immediately put the ball in play. A throw-in in the 47th minute of the game was made by Brian Kjellkvist with Kenneth Bergström as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Evert Svartengren to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Lyckeby Goif's David Tingelholm got a free kick in the 57th minute. Herbert Säfström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lyckeby Goif fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! After 65 minutes Lyckeby Goif's goalkeeper Edmund Stenman managed, with a little bit of luck, save Melker Billvall's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. 65 minutes into the game, Melker Billvall cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Edmund Stenman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th minute, Kenneth Bergström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70thth minute of the game Evert Svartengren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lyckeby Goif's Edmund Stenman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th minute Herbert Säfström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johannes Blixt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by PAOK1926's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Herbert Säfström was slow to take the kick. During this time Lyckeby Goif's players had a chance to rest. When Oskar Hedkvist fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lyckeby Goif's protests and gave Oskar Hedkvist a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Lyckeby Goif got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Hedkvist. In the 78th minute Evert Svartengren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Stenman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmund Stenman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Lundström in the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Simon Vik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Johannes Blixt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 87 played minutes Lyckeby Goif got a freekick which was hit by Simon Vik. Edmund Stenman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Svartengren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Lyckeby Goif were victorious despite being under pressure from PAOK1926 for much of the match.
