In the 25th minute Ove Ingemarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Stenman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Lyckeby Goif defense, 洪霆荣 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmund Stenman. The Lyckeby Goif fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmund Stenman should have stopped the shot. Sven-Olof Ahlroth hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Herbert Säfström made in the 33rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Göran Damm however managed to control. With an all-out effort, Lyckeby Goif's Måns Termander threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from David Tingelholm, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Göran Damm during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edmund Stenman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZEN. Edmund Stenman made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Ove Ingemarsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute, Paul Lidman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that David Tingelholm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Måns Termander was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. After having played for 77 minutes, 洪霆荣 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZEN's supporters crossed their fingers, but 洪霆荣 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute, Ove Ingemarsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmund Stenman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Dan Karlsson made in the 83rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which 洪霆荣 however managed to control. Ove Ingemarsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Edmund Stenman made a huge save. Ove Ingemarsson hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 90th match minute, Lyckeby Goif was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Dahlberg to maneuver through the defense.
