In the 11th match minute, Rörö FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Törnqvist to maneuver through the defense. Dag Hagström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Txatxu Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Txatxu Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dag Hagström having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Drewitz in the 26th minute of play forced Rörö FF's goalkeeper Dag Hagström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Txatxu Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dag Hagström having to interfere. In the 30th minute Txatxu Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dag Hagström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henning Salqvist lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rörö FF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! In the 43rd play minute Sven-Åke Danielsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Timmy Boström . 1-1. Timmy Boström made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Sven-Åke Danielsson sent off a good shot on target. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Txatxu Montenegro to strike the kick off in the second half. Dag Hagström made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Txatxu Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. 53 minutes into the match, Rörö FF's goalkeeper Dag Hagström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Åke Drewitz. Åsa IK's Timmy Boström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Åke Danielsson in the 74th minute of play. Gustaf Bergren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dag Hagström having to interfere. Åke Drewitz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dag Hagström having to make a save. In the 83rd minute, Edwin Uggla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Åsa IK's Matthias Berglund couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rörö FF. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Ove Karlsson in the 87th minute of play forced Rörö FF's goalkeeper Dag Hagström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timmy Boström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Åke Danielsson in the 88th minute of the match. Dag Hagström was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jan-Ove Karlsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 91 minute of play. Åsa IK played a much better game than Rörö FF and deserved their victory. The Rörö FF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
