Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Martin Fagerberg got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute of the match Edvin Haglund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ingmar Rudqvist skillfully saved the ball. Gunnar Nordström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingmar Rudqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oscar Pihlblad went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Rydsgård booed when Manchester City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Bennet didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gunnar Nordström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aaron Bennet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Manchester City's Mikael Nykvist got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Michael Boberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Bergkvist in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Aaron Bennet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rydsgård's Ingmar Rudqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manchester City's Oscar Pihlblad got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mikael Nykvist hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the game, Rydsgård's Åke Granberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michael Boberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 39thth minute of the game Aaron Bennet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rydsgård's Ingmar Rudqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Rydsgård's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Bennet came free, but Ingmar Rudqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 43 minutes into the game, when Lucas Samuelsson put in a rough tackle. Gunnar Nordström walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 62nd match minute, Rydsgård was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Bergkvist to maneuver through the defense. Aaron Bennet in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ingmar Rudqvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 64 played minutes Aaron Bennet rounded Rydsgård's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Michael Boberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Granberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Aaron Bennet in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ingmar Rudqvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 75 minutes, Aaron Bennet made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Rydsgård's Ingmar Rudqvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Aaron Bennet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ingmar Rudqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingmar Rudqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Bennet in the 80th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Aaron Bennet put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Ingmar Rudqvist. In the 85th minute of the match Stig Söderlund shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michael Boberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 94 minutes, Martin Fagerberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rydsgård and the Manchester City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aaron Bennet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingmar Rudqvist having to interfere. The Rydsgård fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Manchester City were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
