Stockholm FC's Torgny Söderström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Kielstedt in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Stockholm FC's goalkeeper Torgny Söderström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Birger Jönsson. In the 9th minute, Kenny Billock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Simon Deckberg from long distance, 10 minutes into the match, got Torgny Söderström's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 12th match minute, Stockholm FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sivert Zachrisson to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Nösund BK booed when Stockholm FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Åke Hjortsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Stockholm FC defense, Karl-Axel Samuelsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torgny Söderström. The Stockholm FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torgny Söderström should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Stockholm FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Fabian Hedling hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Jonatan Eriksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torgny Söderström. Stockholm FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonatan Eriksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. A collision led to Stockholm FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Karl-Åke Hjortsberg hit a great ball. Pär Lindberg kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Simon Deckberg managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Axel Samuelsson got free with Torgny Söderström in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pär Lindberg hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ture Pedersson tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Nils-Åke Söderström. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nösund BK had played much better football throughout.
