Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Patrik Friberger took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Team Z's Patrik Friberger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stellan Hermansson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patrik Friberger took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stellan Hermansson. Stellan Hermansson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Patrik Friberger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stellan Hermansson. Sävedalen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrik Friberger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 19th minute Patrik Friberger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stellan Hermansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stellan Hermansson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrik Friberger's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 33 minutes into the game, one of Team Z:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Isak Pihlgren placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Mark Törnblom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stellan Hermansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Mikelar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Sävedalen's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Mikelar came free, but Stellan Hermansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Alberigo Di Fazio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Z's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberigo Di Fazio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stellan Hermansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute Mark Törnblom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stellan Hermansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonas Hamberg was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Eleuterio Mikelar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Hamberg's late challenge caught a Team Z's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Hamberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sävedalen's Jonas Hamberg got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Robin Sandström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Alberigo Di Fazio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Z's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberigo Di Fazio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stellan Hermansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Alberigo Di Fazio made a precise shot to the right of Stellan Hermansson. Sävedalen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. If Alberigo Di Fazio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Team Z booed when Sävedalen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Ödmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stellan Hermansson came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Team Z's Alberigo Di Fazio. But to his dismay, Alberigo Di Fazio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After having played for 87 minutes, Eleuterio Mikelar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Team Z's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Mikelar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Alberigo Di Fazio came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Team Z fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberigo Di Fazio couldn't finish the play. Eleuterio Mikelar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stellan Hermansson having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Sävedalen got a freekick which was hit by Mats Blomqvist. Mark Törnblom struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Stellan Hermansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team Z. If Alberigo Di Fazio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Team Z's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
