The Sledgehammer FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leif Bergfeldt should have stopped the shot. Börjes fotbolls talanger's Michael Hake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarl Nyman in the 18th minute of play. Michael Hake showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Arne Forssell, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Sledgehammer FC's Edmund Näver got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Börjes fotbolls talanger's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Arne Forssell came free, but Michael Hake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sledgehammer FC's Leif Bergfeldt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Sledgehammer FC from getting a goal against them. Pontus Pihlblad hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sledgehammer FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Börjes fotbolls talanger had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
