Teo Cucao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Stephansson in the 8th minute of the match. Teo Cucao came out of the goal and Johan Stephansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. fc barcelona's Sven-Arne Finman got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute Patric Offendahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Cucao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sven-Arne Finman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teo Cucao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patric Offendahl in the 37th minute of play. Patric Offendahl took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teo Cucao. Teo Cucao dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 44 minutes into the game, Mjölby's Patric Offendahl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teo Cucao made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Arne Finman made a kick off. fc barcelona's Teo Cucao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save fc barcelona from getting a goal against them. Johan Stephansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johan Stephansson couldn't finish the play. Teo Cucao made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johan Stephansson in the 96th minute. After 97 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for fc barcelona! Mjölby's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
