When Elof Hansson fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Titans's protests and gave Elof Hansson a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 played minutes The Titans got a freekick which was hit by Elof Hansson. Erland Vennerberg charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erland Vennerberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes Krulltottarna got a freekick which was hit by Erland Vennerberg. The Krulltottarna players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The Titans were winning 0-1.

They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing The Titans would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
