Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Romulo Macerio started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Dan Mager left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red-sea FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Morgan Blomqvist took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charles Forssberg. Charles Forssberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Budapest FC's Jarl Kjellman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Macerio in the 11th minute of play. In the 18th minute Marcus Sandström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarl Kjellman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarl Kjellman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Sandström, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 19 played minutes Budapest FC got a freekick which was hit by Walter Eliasson. 27 minutes into the match, Roy Berglund notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Red-sea FC's Charles Forssberg. Charles Forssberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 30th minute, Albert Galle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Javier Verdesoto in the 31st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Charles Forssberg's left hand side. Charles Forssberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Berglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Budapest FC's Jarl Kjellman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Budapest FC from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Morgan Blomqvist was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Dan Mager had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jarl Kjellman. Budapest FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dan Mager was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 63rd minute, Budapest FC's Roy Berglund dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Manfred Boman hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Jörn Björck's late challenge caught a Budapest FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jörn Björck helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Budapest FC booed when Red-sea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörn Björck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Morgan Blomqvists short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Charles Forssberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 77 minutes into the match, Red-sea FC's goalkeeper Charles Forssberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Morgan Blomqvist. If Morgan Blomqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Red-sea FC's Jens-Åke Tunberg got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Morgan Blomqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Budapest FC's Jarl Kjellman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Sandström in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Sandström in the 90th minute of play forced Budapest FC's goalkeeper Jarl Kjellman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Dan Mager notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Budapest FC's Jarl Kjellman. Jarl Kjellman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Budapest FC's Morgan Blomqvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Charles Forssberg. That made the score 3-4 after 96 minutes of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Budapest FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
