The crowd rose to their feet as Klövedal's Nils Ek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stefan Qvarnström. That made the score 2-0 after 14 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Ek in the 21st minute of play forced Bromölla's goalkeeper Stefan Qvarnström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils Ek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stefan Qvarnström having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Rickard Strömberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bromölla's supporters rose to their feet, but Rickard Strömberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aleksander Forss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Pettersson in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aleksander Forss prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rickard Strömberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claes Dalgrens short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Stefan Qvarnström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 33 minutes into the match, Bromölla's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Ek came free, but Stefan Qvarnström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claes Dalgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stefan Qvarnström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Nils Ek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bromölla's Stefan Qvarnström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Stefan Qvarnström managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Klövedal's Nils Ek fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Claes Dalgren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Stefan Qvarnström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nils Ek to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Dan Lindberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils Ek took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stefan Qvarnström. Stefan Qvarnström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. A collision led to Klövedal getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Gustaf Wallengren hit a great ball. David Pettersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Aleksander Forss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Claes Dalgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Bromölla's zone, Claes Dalgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Qvarnström came out of the goal and Claes Dalgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Klövedal booed when Bromölla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Olof Wallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Bromölla defense, Nils Ek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefan Qvarnström. The Bromölla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefan Qvarnström should have stopped the shot. Stefan Qvarnström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Ek in the 76th minute of the match. After 78 minutes of play, Klövedal's Nils Ek made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stefan Qvarnström was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute, Rickard Strömberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aleksander Forss. Klövedal were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bromölla for a fine match.
