Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Magnus Petersson took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Lamberto Widmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Åke Palm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Emander kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Lamberto Widmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Kasper Askberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Åke Palm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magnus Petersson in the 14th minute of play. Kasper Askberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 21 minutes, Lamberto Widmer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blåbärens BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lamberto Widmer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sven-Åke Palm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Magnus Petersson went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Boris Forsberg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bernt Ugla. If Magnus Petersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Gefle Sweethearts's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Hjälm came free, but Sven-Åke Palm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Blåbärens BK's Lamberto Widmer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Åke Palm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Gefle Sweethearts's Rune Bergqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kasper Askberg made a kick off. Gefle Sweethearts's Sven-Åke Palm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Gefle Sweethearts from getting a goal against them. In the 74thth minute of the game Lamberto Widmer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gefle Sweethearts's Sven-Åke Palm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lamberto Widmer in the 88th minute of play forced Gefle Sweethearts's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Palm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kjell Thedin charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kjell Thedin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Gefle Sweethearts's Kjell Thedin got a free kick in the 89th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Lamberto Widmer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
