Fredrik Axelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 8 minutes, Felix Kristiansson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redbrick City FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Kristiansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kalle Dahlqvist was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 16th minute. Malå IK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kalle Dahlqvist in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck John Sikström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Malå IK fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Malå IK's Kalle Dahlqvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Kalle Dahlqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kalle Dahlqvist in the 26th minute of play forced Redbrick City FC's goalkeeper John Sikström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Kalle Dahlqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Sikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Malå IK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Alvin Finman hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Malå IK's Kalle Dahlqvist ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind John Sikström. John Sikström yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Fredrik Axelsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hampus Kling in the 37th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Malå IK got a freekick which was hit by Kalle Dahlqvist. When Felix Kristiansson fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Redbrick City FC's protests and gave Felix Kristiansson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Malå IK booed when Redbrick City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Kristiansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute Kalle Dahlqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Sikström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malå IK's Kalle Dahlqvist was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 45th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hampus Kling to strike the kick off in the second half. Alvin Finman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. John Sikström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Kristiansson got free with Fredrik Axelsson in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Per-Åke Westerstrand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. John Sikström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Gunnar Karlsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Malå IK's Kalle Dahlqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Malå IK's Kalle Dahlqvist in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Redbrick City FC's goalie prevented a goal. Pär Wennerqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but John Sikström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kalle Dahlqvist in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg John Sikström saved Redbrick City FC from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, Redbrick City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kalle Dahlqvist came free, but John Sikström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, one of Redbrick City FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Redbrick City FC. Alvin Finman shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Malå IK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
