Ernesto Canuto's late challenge caught a FC Newcastle Brown Ale's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernesto Canuto helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Kriegers Cyborgs FC got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Canuto. When Ernesto Canuto came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Kriegers Cyborgs FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Canuto couldn't finish the play. After 31 minutes, Anton Hjortberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Newcastle Brown Ale and the Kriegers Cyborgs FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kriegers Cyborgs FC booed when FC Newcastle Brown Ale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Hjortberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Canuto in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hampus Fernström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ernesto Canuto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hampus Fernström having to interfere. In the 37th minute Vilhelm Högström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hampus Fernström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ernesto Canuto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hampus Fernström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Canuto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The tension between the FC Newcastle Brown Ale and the Kriegers Cyborgs FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Kriegers Cyborgs FC defense, Sigvard Abrahamsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Evangelista. The Kriegers Cyborgs FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Evangelista should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Alexander Pettersson put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lucas Evangelista. After a defensive mix-up in FC Newcastle Brown Ale's zone, Vilhelm Högström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hampus Fernström came out of the goal and Vilhelm Högström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Ernesto Canuto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kriegers Cyborgs FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Canuto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hampus Fernström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ernesto Canuto came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Kriegers Cyborgs FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Canuto couldn't finish the play. But to his dismay, Sigvard Abrahamsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Lucas Evangelista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dag Molin in the 91st minute of the match. The FC Newcastle Brown Ale support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
