An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Eriksson in the 9th minute of play forced FC Newcastle Brown Ale's goalkeeper Hampus Fernström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Askelöf hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Ove Holmstedt in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hampus Fernström saved FC Newcastle Brown Ale from getting behind. Jerry Eriksson struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Hampus Fernström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tomelilla. The supporters of FC Newcastle Brown Ale booed when Tomelilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Gudmundsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anton Hybbert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Pettersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 27th match minute, Tomelilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Askelöf to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Dag Molin made a precise shot to the right of Anton Hybbert. Tomelilla's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Tomelilla's Anton Hybbert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Tomelilla from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute, Sten Vallgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Tomelilla's Anton Hybbert got control of the ball when Tommy Esbjörnsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hampus Fernström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Ove Holmstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Newcastle Brown Ale's goalkeeper Hampus Fernström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sigvard Abrahamsson's late challenge caught a Tomelilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anton Hybbert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Pettersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 53 played minutes Tomelilla got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Askelöf. Hampus Fernström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerry Eriksson's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Tomelilla's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Pettersson came free, but Anton Hybbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dag Molin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anton Hybbert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dag Molin in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rdth minute of the game Sven-Ove Holmstedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Newcastle Brown Ale's Hampus Fernström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jerry Eriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 minutes of play, FC Newcastle Brown Ale's Dag Molin made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anton Hybbert was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dag Molin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Tomelilla's Jerry Eriksson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hampus Fernström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucas Wennerqvist hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 82 played minutes, FC Newcastle Brown Ale's Tommy Esbjörnsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anton Hybbert came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Newcastle Brown Ale reached it. Gabriel Askelöf kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the last second Hampus Fernström throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jerry Eriksson in the 86thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A collision led to FC Newcastle Brown Ale getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Sigvard Abrahamsson hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Jerry Eriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tomelilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerry Eriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hampus Fernström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Many of Tomelilla's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Tomelilla may have spent more time on the ball, but FC Newcastle Brown Ale were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
