Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ragnar Kilberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to IK Gryta getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Kristoffer Falkrantz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Westerstrand in the 8th minute of play forced IK Gryta's goalkeeper William Ennegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. IK Gryta's William Ennegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sakarias Blomqvist in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th match minute, Stockholm SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Kjellman to maneuver through the defense. IK Gryta's Kent Holmgren shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 11th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bengt-Rune Stolpe but with some difficulty. Bengt-Rune Stolpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ragnar Kilberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Stockholm SK defense, Ragnar Kilberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bengt-Rune Stolpe. The Stockholm SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bengt-Rune Stolpe should have stopped the shot. After 21 played minutes, Stockholm SK's Erik Kjellman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper William Ennegren came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stockholm SK reached it. In the 24th minute Sakarias Blomqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Ennegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Slawomir Murdza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in IK Gryta's zone, Sakarias Blomqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Ennegren came out of the goal and Sakarias Blomqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Sakarias Blomqvist came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Stockholm SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sakarias Blomqvist couldn't finish the play. William Ennegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Westerstrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute Sakarias Blomqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Ennegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Slawomir Murdza managed to get in a good position for a shot. IK Gryta's supporters rose to their feet, but Slawomir Murdza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengt-Rune Stolpe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute Ragnar Kilberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Rune Stolpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ragnar Kilberg to make the kick off. In the 62nd match minute, Stockholm SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo Dahlkvist to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the game, Joel Westerstrand was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stockholm SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IK Gryta the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ragnar Kilberg in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengt-Rune Stolpe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Slawomir Murdza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of IK Gryta booed when Stockholm SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Pååk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ragnar Kilberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bengt-Rune Stolpe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. A throw-in in the 90th minute of the game was made by Erik Kjellman with Elias Pååk as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The IK Gryta manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Stockholm SK to win.
